To be completely honest, I picked this theme because I thought it looked pretty. I really like the muted blue because it stays simple while adding a slight pop of color, instead of being pure white. Without a better way of explaining it, it is easy on the eyes. But, the main change I made was for titles, I added the Japanese translation. So, under “Japanese History” and next to both “Home” and “Posts” is those words in Japanese. I thought that since I speak Japanese, and a large part of why I decided to take this class was because I am half-Japanese, it would add a bit of myself into a blog that is for academic purposes.
